WWE 205 Live results (Oct. 3, 2018): Buddy Murphy’s law

Here’s a place to check results and comment along with the latest 205 Live as it airs on WWE Network.

For the first time since WrestleMania 34 in April, the purple belt is on someone other than Cedric Alexander’s shoulder. Buddy Murphy took down the Soul of 205 Live in his hometown of Melbourne at Super Show-Down. Now we see how both men, and the entire cruiserweight division, reacts to the change.

Meanwhile, Lio Rush is following up his wins over Akira Tozawa and Noam Dar by issuing an open challenge, TJP lost a match to Kalisto but claimed another of Lucha House Party’s masks in the aftermath, The Brian Kendrick took the fall for the latest setbacks in Drew Gulak’s campaign for a better 205 Live and the build to a final showdown between Hideo Itami & Mustafa Ali is on.

We’ll post match results, highlights and plot developments here. And this gives you Cagesiders a dedicated place to rave and/or bitch about whatever goes down on the WWE’s cruiserweight showcase – while it’s being broadcast at 7PM Eastern!

NOTE: Spoilers are out there for these pre-taped broadcasts, but many Cagesiders don’t partake. If you are going to post or discuss spoilers for this show in the short-time between when this article is published and the show’s start, please use the spoiler bar in your comment.
