Spider Lady vs. Skeleton Man tonight on Lucha Underground

Spider Lady vs. Skeleton Man tonight on Lucha Underground

Week eighteen of Lucha Underground’s fourth season will have the wrestling debut of Reklusa (aka Chelsea Green) and unlikely partners in a tag team match. Get ready for the action as it airs tonight at 8pm ET on El Rey Network.

If you missed last week’s show, catch up with the recap and reactions and a snazzy summary video from the Lucha Underground YouTube channel.

Here are three things I’ve got my eye on for this episode.

1. Spider Lady vs Skeleton Man

Reklusa fights Pentagon DARK tonight. Boom!

Reklusa is kind of skinny, so I’m curious how well they make the match believable in a competitive nature. I’ve never seen Chelsea Green wrestle. I have no idea what to expect.

Since it seems a Pentagon win is obvious, I’m expecting something weird to happen. It wouldn’t make sense for him to break Reklusa’s arm and take her off TV so soon after her first appearance. A broken arm would also limit any interference in the Ultima Lucha Cuatro main event of Marty Martinez against Pentagon DARK.

2. Unlikely partners

In a page out of Dario Cueto’s book, Antonio Cueto has paired an unlikely duo in tag team action tonight. Or it could just be a Teddy Long special, playa. I wouldn’t be surprised if Antonio was drunk and booked the matches on the fly.

That’s right, Mil Muertes and Fenix will be partners in a mix of two other Ultima Lucha Cuatro bouts; Mil Muertes vs Mack in a Death Match and Fenix vs El Dragon Azteca Jr. in 2 out of 3 falls.

I wonder if Mil and Fenix will bond with Fenix now being an evil goon. I hope El Rey Network signs them to a roommate sitcom. Imagine the whacky adventures. “Fenix, stop drinking from the toilet bowl,” and such.

3. Taya

Taya is a hashtag in a teaser video tweet.

Ricky Mundo better run and hide. Taya is liable to chop his head of if she is aware that he opened the door to ruin her wedding with Johnny Mundo.

In other news, Ultima Lucha Cuatro will be two weeks. Week one on Halloween and a two hour finale on November 7.

Enjoy the show tonight at 8pm ET on El Rey Network.
