Rumor Roundup: Dean Ambrose return, Jason Jordan situation, NXT on TV, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that — rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it’s just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. We track rumor accuracy in a weekly feature called Rumor Look Back you can find here. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • There continues to be speculation that they’re building to a Dean Ambrose return to help Seth Rollins for a program with Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre.
  • The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is now saying Jason Jordan isn’t returning “at the present time” because there are still issues with his neck after his surgery.
  • Despite the deal with FOX, the Observer says there are no plans for NXT to move to television or off the WWE Network as of right now.
  • The ROH/NJPW show at MSG in April next year has sold over 12,000 tickets before going on sale to the public, says the Observer. It’s all but guaranteed to sell out at this point, possibly as soon as tomorrow.
  • ALL IN could air on New Japan World, but only in Japan.
