Not sure how I feel about the talk Trish Stratus & Lita could stick around as a tag team after Evolution, working big event matches as the women’s division’s answer to DX or the Brothers of Destruction.
There are pros and cons, for sure.
There’s name recognition and presumably drawing power to having Hall of Famers to call on, and it’s a nice way to honor an era of workers who weren’t given much to work with in their day. But the women don’t have a deep enough roster or enough screen time to support a pocket universe like the part-time men usually occupy – which means Trish & Lita will either be beating or losing to wrestlers in their prime, who will be around longer, and more often.
One thing I am sure about, though. If they’re going to be around as a duo in any capacity after Oct. 28, we’re gonna need to come up with a new moniker for their alliance.
Cause ain’t nobody calling them “Besties Best For Business”…
Suggestions? Come on. You can’t do worse than what they came up with.
